Almay Kinetin

Almay Kinetin

Almay Kinetin is a product meant to reduce wrinkles and fine lines by 45%, fade the look of uneven skin tones by 47%, improve skin texture and smoothness by 77%, and produce dramatic results without irritation. It comes from a huge conglomerate, and it is based on one major ingredient largely used only by this product. They claim it delivers intensive doses of kinetin wherever you happen to need it with more advanced targeting processes.

That’s a lot to claim for one product! Can Almay Kinetin live up to these claims?

History of Almay Kinetin

Almay was created in the early 1900′s, and Almay Kinetin was subsequently produced. Almay has definitely established a well known name for themselves, and they generally sell in large stores such as Walmart, Walgreens, and Rite Aid. They are not going away any time soon to be sure.

Benefits

Almay Kinetin is designed to penetrate deeply and attack wrinkles at the source. Kinetin, a kind of cytokinin, is a plant hormone that encourages cell division and regeneration. It is a powerful antioxidant which is one reason so many wrinkle creams rely on it in their formulas.

Unfortunately, though kinetin could reduce some wrinkles, it is not the most powerful ingredient to include in a wrinkle cream.

Almay Kinetin does not include many other ingredients that can contribute to the results you want. Therefore, it is difficult to determine whether or not Almay Kinetin can reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

Possible side effects

Possible side effects include redness, irritation, burning, itching, sensitivity to the sun, peeling, and dryness.

Some of the Almay Kinetin products have been discontinued. We question whether that was because of safety concerns or if Almay just came up with a better formula and is no longer using this one.

Conclusion

We would not advise consumers to buy this product. It does not actually deliver the promised results results and could cause quite a few side effects among other problems. Their policy seems to be complete nondisclosure, and products with this kind of history and policy are of questionable origins. We would highly recommend looking for something else such as those products that have been listed on our top list of products. After reading numerous consumer reviews and consulting with experts we have determined that these products are more likely to produce your desired results.
