Evaporte from Beaute de Paris claims that it is “the Parisian secret for beautiful eyes.”
It says that after application of this product, the eye region is smoothed and brightened, under eye bags are reduced, dark circles diminished and the eyes appear less tired, and that after 6 to 8 weeks, the process of formation of dark circles and bags is prevented long-term.
These are amazing claims, but it is difficult to imagine one product that could give you so many benefits. For the $79.99 price tag, though, we should expect to see no less.
The common complaints with eye creams is that they are sticky, drying, or that they do not deliver the kinds of results they promise. We are going to take a close look at Evaporte and see if it delivers.
Our number one complaint with Evaporte is that it does not contain a full list of ingredients. It does contain some peptides, which are essential for reducing wrinkles and brightening the skin, but because all of the ingredients are not listed in order, we don’t know whether it contains 99% peptides or .01%.
The other ingredients listed are mainly extracts or unproven elements, which can be effective when used in high doses, but the fact that Evaporte withholds information does not give us much confidence on that front.
Many of the consumer reviews can be summed up with one woman’s statement:
“I have been using this as instructed for a couple of months and I can’t honestly tell any difference. Perhaps there is a difference but if so, it is way too subtle for me to notice. Given the price I expected to notice some difference!”
At the end of the day, the consumers do not feel that this wrinkle cream will give them the results it promises.
Based on the lack of information given about Evaporte and the negative consumer reviews, we would not recommend trying this product. When buying an expensive wrinkle cream, you should look for full ingredient lists, and lists that include 3 or more peptides, as well as other clinically proven ingredients.
